Need a hand?

Email support@azuredriver.com. A real person reads every message, usually within a couple of days.

It helps to include your iPhone model, the app version (at the bottom of Settings), and what happened. A screenshot is great. Please never send your password.

Getting started
How do I join a household?

Ask your household owner for an invite. On the sign-in screen, tap New here? Join or start a household and enter the invite code they sent you, or just open their invite link. The owner chooses which cars and tabs you can see.

Can I use Sign in with Apple?

Yes. Sign in once with your email and password, then link your Apple ID in Settings → Security. After that, either way works.

Does it work offline?

Yes. You can browse your records and log fill-ups and services without a connection. They sync on their own when you're back online. AI features and receipt reading need a connection.

Can I use it on my iPad or Mac?

Yes. Azure Driver runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Macs. Sign in with the same account and everything syncs.

Account
I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?. We'll email a 6-digit code to the address on your account. Check your junk folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

Why does the app ask for Face ID?

Face ID keeps your garage private if someone else picks up your phone. The app locks after 5 minutes in the background. You can turn it off in Settings → Security → Face ID to open.

How do I change my email address?

Go to Settings → Security → Change email. We'll send a code to the new address to confirm it, and let your old address know about the change.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete account. Your account is deleted after 7 days, and signing in during that time cancels it. If you own a household, you can hand it to another member or delete the whole household with everything in it.

Can't get into the app? Email us from the address on your account and we'll take care of it.

Features
What does the cloud AI do, and can I turn it off?

When your household has it on and you allow it, cloud AI answers questions about your cars, helps diagnose problems, and reads receipts and notes. You can switch it off any time in Settings → Connections → Cloud AI. AI notes then keep working on your iPhone. See the privacy policy for exactly what's sent.

I'm not getting notifications

Check that notifications are allowed for Azure Driver in iOS Settings, then choose which ones you want in Settings → Notifications. Focus modes can hold them back too.

Trips aren't recording

Trip recording works best with location access set to Always in iOS Settings → Azure Driver → Location. Your household owner can also turn trip recording off for a driver.

How do I get my data out?

Household owners can export everything as CSV, or a single car's service history as a PDF, from Settings. Anyone can email us for a copy of their information.

A recall shows up that doesn't apply to my car

Recalls are matched by make, model and year from Transport Canada and other government sources, so some may cover a different trim. Check with your dealer using your VIN, then mark it as done or “not for my car” in the app.
